Payza Enables To Deliver Bitcoin in Developing Countries

Founded in 2012, London-based Payza is an especially new online payments platform that competes with services like PayPal. Payza's personal accounts allow customers transfer money internationally and purchase numerous items online. Business accounts are used by merchants to process payments, issue invoices, and manage other factors of running an enterprise. However, unlike some of its competitors like PayPal, Payza has been very effective about Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general. Back in may 2014, Ali Nizameddine, executive vice president of Product and technology at Payza, said that the organization had "...a wonderful vision of how we would like to include Bitcoins into our platform".

"The option that is most appealing is to allow our members to purchase Bitcoins with funds in their secure Payza accounts and to allow them to store their Bitcoins in their Payza wallets or to transfer them to another wallet service. Also, merchants that process payments using Payza would be able to easily add the option to accept Bitcoin payments without the need to incorporate other payment gateways" Nizameddine added. "That is what we are currently trying to achieve, but the actual service offered will depend on the partnerships we forge and the regulations of the countries in which we operate."

Ferhan Patel, Director of global risk and Compliance at Payza, stated that the enterprise could need to navigate via unclear government rules and guidance regarding cryptocurrencies. But, it seems like the employer has gotten a step towards its vision, as Payza introduced a new way to buy Bitcoin these days.

Withdrawal by Bitcoin
With Payza's latest feature simply introduced today, customers can withdraw funds from Payza directly to their Bitcoin wallets. In effect, Payza is giving its members an easy way to buy bitcoins. As long as the account is validated (which requires proof of residency and proof of identity), a Payza member can withdraw in BTC in 3 easy steps (taken from the Payza blog):

In your Payza account, select "Withdraw Funds" on the top navigation bar and then select "Bitcoin". Select the currency (balance) you wish to use, enter the Bitcoin address in your wallet, and enter the amount you wish to withdraw, then click "next". Confirm the details, enter your Payza Transaction PIN and click on "Withdraw" to complete the transaction.

However, Payza notes that withdrawals take 1-3 business days (though the exchange rate is locked in immediately after the transaction is created), and users can't purchase bitcoins with funds that were added by credit card.

Why is this important?

Part of Payza's core mission is empowering under-serviced markets in developing countries. Regardless of the united states, Payza objectives to offer its members with "a low-cost, secure and convenient way to send and receive money, or accept payments for services rendered," said CEO Alastair Graham.

"We have over 10 million debts from Albania to Zambia and pretty much anywhere in between. We're no longer quite as big as a number of the opposite gamers in this space but we do have one among the biggest worldwide footprints and we're developing each day."

"We're in particular glad to provide a smooth way for people in developing economies to buy Bitcoin. Payza gives offerings in over one hundred ninety nations and that they honestly aren't all same in terms of getting admission to this sort of provider. With any luck, Payza can assist bridge a rather massive hole."

-Payza on Reddit

That is also simply the primary a part of Payza's involvement in Bitcoin, and the company plans to comprise the cryptocurrency in increasingly of its offerings.

"Are u sooner or later aiming for a fiat and bitcoin wallet in one? One pocket, fiat and crypto hand in hand!
now not for human beings right here, but the common Joe would like that I wager!"

-GM4N1986 on Reddit

"We're in reality planning to build on this first step. We expect Bitcoin to be a vital part of the web charge ecosystem sooner instead of later and we need to be a part of that increase.

That said, there are a whole lot of difficulty to navigate in phrases of complete-scale Bitcoin adoption at the Payza platform. The main problem is that we want to ensure both shoppers and sellers could be blanketed before we are able to offer Bitcoin bills through Payza. That means there wishes to be some form of fee reversibility or escrow, otherwise, shoppers could want to log off on a no refund coverage.

We like the idea of letting human beings preserve bitcoins in their Payza e-wallets, but because the wallets are online, we need to be clearly positive that the bitcoins could be included.

I'm able to say that Bitcoin integration is one in each of our fundamental focuses right now at Payza, so anticipate more options soon!"

-Payza on Reddit

Payza is one of the few payments processors to completely and wholeheartedly support Bitcoin. And as Payza is making Bitcoin "considered one of our main focuses", possibly the competition will follow?

Sadly Senior Citizens in America Are Falling Prey to Identity Fraud and Other Such Online Threats

The saddest part of today's society is its elderly people. No longer are they cared for like they used to be and neither the family functions nor gatherings like them as it used to be in earlier times. It is no wonder that they have fallen prey to scammers, who steal sensitive personal and financial information and take away money from their accounts.

The American Journal of Public health states that about 5.4 percent of older persons experience some form of scam or another. The situation gets alarming when we see that they aren't just abused by cyber criminals but even by their family members and friends as well.

How Are The Elderly Scammed By Fraudsters Online Today?

In order to avoid scams, it is vital to know what types of scams are out there. One type of scam is wherein the imposter poses as someone from the IRS, telling the elderly person that they have many tax dues unpaid. The person informs the senor citizen to deposit money into an account to complete the payment.

Financial Fraud Against Senior Citizens

Another type is when a person poses as a grandchild saying that he or she is in jail and needs money to bail out or is in a predicament, such as their wallet has been stolen or something similar. As they do not want the parents to know, they are calling up the grandparents to get necessary money to get out of the problem.

Similarly a different situation is where a person catches a lonely and isolated elderly person online and makes friends with that person for a couple of months. As the senior citizen does not have anyone to trust and rely on, they tend to talk to the imposter who after a while asks them to send money, which is an activity that happens a couple of times, till he or he is caught or someone warns the elderly person that it is an imposter calling and asking for money. It is usually elderly with health problems and declining mental faculties who are usually targeted.

How can financial fraud against the elderly be stopped? It is essential for them to be educated about such situations through local awareness bodies, social workers and others who love to work for a social cause. It is important for relatives and institutions taking care of them to prevent them from talking to people who can take advantage of them by monitoring their social activities in and outside the home or institution.

They should be taught not to give away personal and confidential information to anyone over the phone or while surfing the net as this could lead to money being taken from their account by scrupulous people. They should be taught simple but effective ways to manage their finance such that they do not rely on others for such activities.

Way To Ensure E-Commerce Security

A security breach occurs when an individual misuses a network, system or data access with the intention of causing harm. It can affect an organization’s data, systems or operations. There are ways to avoid security breaches. Here are some of the most effective measures that can be taken to ensure e-commerce security.

1. Change the default password

Devices and applications are protected by default username and password. You should change these default passwords. Using a good strong password is the best way to do this. Never use the same password for all your applications. Also change your passwords periodically.

2. You should disable user accounts when an employee leaves the company

Security breaches are the easiest to pull off when the attacker has inside information. Not many realize that security threats can come from both outside and inside the organization. Therefore you should disable accounts of employees who are no longer working for you. This simple practice can help prevent attacks.

3. Examine security logs

System logs should be reviewed on a daily basis. Security logs are the first line of defense. By reviewing the logs, an administrator can find any failed attempts. This could suggest an attacker trying to get access or a valid user has forgotten the password.

4. Do regular scans

You should regularly carry out network scans to determine if any rogue equipment has been installed in the network. You can do this by using inbuilt commands or use freeware programs.

5. Monitor outbound network traffic

It has become increasingly difficult to detect sophisticated malware. One way of doing it is by monitoring the outbound network traffic. You should check for the number of outbound connections or the amount of traffic that deviates from normal baseline operations. It may be the only indication of sensitive information being stolen. You can use firewall applications to monitor outbound traffic.

6. Update regularly

Keeping the operating system and application software updated with the latest security patches is the best way to foil a security breach. You can be safe from hacking attempts outside the perimeter of the network. If the operating system and the applications are not vulnerable the attack will most likely fail.

7. Implement a security plan

Having a security plan ready is a must. In the case of an attack, the security plan can offer a solid solution on how to handle the situation. This will help get the situation under control quickly and can help prevent excessive damage.

8. Raise user awareness about security

You should offer security training programs to your employees and focus on creating well-informed users who can function on the internet securely without compromising your organization’s security in any way.

9. Get top management buy-in on security policies

You should get top management to endorse and support security policies. This will help you to procure the required tools and technology and also enforce the policy on employees. Completely eliminating a security breach is an impossible task but it is possible to make it more difficult for security breaches to occur.

10. Focus on data security

If needed have a separate policy for data security. Use encryption for sensitive data. Also, make sure only authorized users to have access to data backups. Loss of customer data can cause great damage to an organization’s reputation hence this aspect of security must never be overlooked.

Stay Safe From Credit Card Fraud

As Online businesses have mushroomed there has also been an increase in the number of payments being processed online. Most sites offer a variety of options including bank transfers, credit and debit cards for making online payments. While online shopping is easy and convenient it also increase the risk of theft of identity and payment related information. Online businesses and customers both need to follow fraud protection practices. It has been found that credit card fraud is the biggest online fraud being committed today. More and more unsuspecting users have found that their credit card information has been compromised. As a customer, you can protect your credit card information from fraudsters by following a few simple guidelines given below.

Don’t Share Your Credit Card Number

Never ever give your credit card to someone else. While shopping never hand over your credit card to another person. If you do so, make sure the card is in your sight and you can see what it is being used for. Similarly, don’t share your credit card number online unless you are actually making a purchase. Only purchase at reputed sites and it is usually a good practice to avoid storing your credit card details at those sites. If someone sends you an email asking for credit card information, it is most likely a phishing scam. Remember banks and other financial institutions never ask for personal, bank account or credit card information over email or a phone call. Be very cautious when sharing such information.

Check Your Card Statements

Make it a habit to check your credit card statements. If you notice any transaction that you have not made, then bring it to the notice of the issuing bank immediately. If you suspect your card information has been compromised in any way, then you should immediately take steps to block your card to prevent it from being misused. Credit card details once stolen, are then traded in the dark web marketplace. This stolen data can be purchased and used for illegal activities as well. Hence, report any suspicious activities right away.

Look At Other Options

Nowadays there are safer options such as chip based cards and prepaid credit cards. Prepaid credit cards are loaded with a certain amount of money. This amount acts as the upper limit that gets compromised in case your card is stolen or lost. Prepaid cards can be used just like credit cards. You can always load the card again with funds. This is a great way to keep your risks at a minimum when using cards online.

Use Customer Complaints To Improve Your Business

Every business has its share of customer complaints. In today’s competitive and fast paced world, businesses are expected to be agile and keep adapting their services, methods of working and technology to meet the needs of the customers. Also thanks to the advent of social media, customers are quick to discover latest trends, demand the same from their providers and instantly post their feedback on social sites if they are not satisfied. Customer is indeed king and today he knows this!

Provide Avenues For Customers To Post Feedback
Almost every business has some means to solicit customer feedback. This could be via dedicated customer support teams, customer surveys or complaint cells. It is very important for customers to know that they can reach out to the business if they have any positive or negative feedback. Typically, it has been observed that customers resort to posting complaints on public forums only after they have not been satisfied with the response to their complaints from the business itself.

Take Complaints Positively
Businesses can go a long way in improving their services if they take their customers complaints in a positive light. An unhappy customer is a sign of something missing in your delivery chain. It is worth troubleshooting to find out the root cause of the difficulty being faced by the customer. This could result in improved services that benefit all customers or could set the foundation for a totally new service as your current portfolio might not be meeting market demands. In either case, hearing the voice of the customer ultimately benefits your business and leads to positive growth.

Payza Sucks?
One good example of using customer complaints for constructive improvement is Payza - an online payment processing platform. Payza states that it aims to adapt to the needs of the customers and therefore always listens to their complaints. To further substantiate this, Payza gives some examples of how it has used complaints to improve its services. When customers complained that disputes were taking a long time to resolve, Payza created a dedicated resolution centre. This has been positively received by the customers. Similarly when users complained of not enough customer support, Payza extended its customer support hours.

This is a great example of having a consumer focused mindset which goes a long way in building customer loyalty.

Payza Problem Solving with New Age of Freelancing

Payza Problem Solving with New Age of Freelancing It’s a new world out there! The only thing keeping us in the office every day is cultural momentum – it’s no longer even remotely a requirement. The development of tools such as Payza has brought the world to your fingertips. So why are so few people working from the comfort of their own homes? The short answer is money, and the Payza problem solving tools can help make sure you can start freelancing now without any concern for getting paid in a timely and affordable manner.

When their entire source of income hangs in the balance, people tend to get nervous. But think about it – we’ve all been shopping online for at least 10 years and how often do our payments fail to go through? It’s the same thing for companies that work with remote teams; as long as you know your employer and trust their legitimacy, there’s not a realistic risk that your paycheck isn’t going to come through online. Plus, you can rest assured that if you do experience Payza problems, we are here to help you resolve them quickly.

Payza Problem Solving 101

Let’s face it, all companies have technical problems at some point. We understand that Payza problems cannot be taken lightly – e-commerce companies like Payza deal with people’s money and that’s where security matters the most. That’s why we make sure we always have people on hand around the clock to help our customers solve all their Payza problems.
But the fact is that most of the problems you might have can be thwarted at the source: you. Many internet users are extremely irresponsible with their data. If you work from home, you rely on that data to make a living.

So make sure you don’t become a victim – follow these online security tips:

1. Update your browsers, apps and anti-virus programs: Hackers are always finding new ways to infiltrate your computer. Most software updates, among other things, patch the latest known security vulnerabilities in your browsers and anti-virus software. Make sure to always stay up-to-date.
2. Disable cookies: Cookies allow websites to remember your preferences, which makes for a more enjoyable online experience. However, cookies can also be used for evil. Some sites will try to automatically download viruses or data-harvesting software onto your computer, but with cookies disabled, this won’t be possible.
Working from Outside the House
If you’re anything like me, a change of scenery can really be a boost to your productivity. But if you’re working outside of the house and accessing a public network, there are even more security risks you should be aware of:
3. Don’t enter personal information into online forms: Online shopping, for example, requires the transmission of personal financial data. Fraudsters that are also tapped into a shared public network could be able to intercept that data, which might leave you a long way from home with an empty bank account.
4. Don’t access your email: It can be hard to resist, but accessing your email on a public network can expose a massive amount of personal information. Even if you are careful never to send any sensitive information over email, hackers can still hijack your contact list and use your account to send phishing emails.

RESOURCE

If you’re working remotely, chances are your email account contains massive amount of vital information. It’s the lifeblood of the freelancer’s career – every assignment, report, invoice and receipt goes through it. Not only can any personal financial information be used to perform identity theft, but imagine if your password were to be changed or your data destroyed! It could amount to a career-damaging catastrophe. So visit the Payza Blog to learn more about Payza problem solving and eliminate the risks associated with working remotely once-and-for-all.
